Over the past few months, we’ve shared some really innovative and low-cost ideas that you can do at home with your kids. Here we’d like to revisit four of our favorite activities:

  • Ball Painting
  • Ball Painting is a fun activity where kids use balls, rather than brushes, to create an abstract work of art.

  • Cardboard Kitchen
  • Help your kids discover cooperative play in a make-believe kitchen that you can construct out of ordinary boxes.

  • Bubble-Blowing Kit
  • How something as fun and simple as blowing bubbles can create opportunities for teachable moments.

  • Pounding Activities
  • This activity can help manage children’s aggression by letting them use plastic hammers to pound golf tees into blocks of styrofoam.
